What would your business do?

What happens if something gets through?

Cybersecurity isn't just about stopping every threat. It's knowing what would happen if something did get through.

A padlock held in an open hand

A phishing email reaches an employee. Something suspicious happens on a laptop at 3am. Someone pastes customer data into an AI tool.

Would you know?

And increasingly, security isn't just about what comes into your business. It's about what data leaves it too. Take our quick Security Check to see where potential gaps may exist across email, identity, devices, AI & data, monitoring and recovery.

The context

The numbers tell us there is a risk.

The latest UK Government Cyber Security Breaches Survey found that:

43%

of UK businesses identified a cyber breach or attack in the last 12 months.

38%

of businesses experienced phishing, making it the most commonly reported type of breach or attack.

69%

of organisations that experienced a breach or attack said phishing was the most disruptive type.

And among businesses that experienced cyber crime, 93% experienced phishing cyber crime.

The Government's research also found that some smaller organisations may have poorer identification and reporting practices because they have less sophisticated cyber security monitoring in place.

The numbers tell us there is a risk. The Security Check asks a different question: what would your business do?

Cybersecurity Awareness Month

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, making it a good opportunity to take a closer look at the security foundations protecting your business.

But this shouldn't be a once-a-year exercise.

Knowing where you stand is the first step towards knowing what to do next.
